ProCam AU Security Support Policy

ProCam AU is committed to maintaining the security of its products and services through responsible security management, vulnerability handling and software maintenance practices.

Product Covered

This policy applies to:

  • ProCam 4KHD PV-PRO Dash Camera

  • ProCam AU Mobile Application

  • Related ProCam AU online services

Security Updates

Where security vulnerabilities are identified and verified, ProCam AU will assess the issue and, where appropriate, provide:

  • Firmware updates

  • Application updates

  • Configuration guidance

  • Security advisories

The type and timing of any update will depend on the severity and impact of the vulnerability.

Firmware Maintenance

Firmware is maintained by the product manufacturer and supplied to ProCam AU.

Where firmware changes are required to address security, stability or functionality issues, updates may be released subject to manufacturer support and technical feasibility.

Mobile Application Support

The ProCam AU mobile application is maintained by the software provider.

Application maintenance and support are currently provided under the manufacturer’s support arrangement and may be extended through ongoing maintenance agreements.

Security Support Period

ProCam AU will make reasonable efforts to provide security-related support and updates while the product remains actively supported by the manufacturer and associated software providers.

Support availability may be affected by:

  • Hardware limitations

  • Third-party software dependencies

  • End-of-life manufacturer decisions

  • Mobile operating system compatibility

End of Support

Where a product reaches end-of-support status, ProCam AU may:

  • Cease security update distribution

  • Cease firmware maintenance

  • Publish an end-of-support notice where appropriate

Customers are encouraged to keep firmware and mobile applications updated to the latest available versions.

User Responsibilities

Users should:

  • Install firmware updates when available

  • Keep mobile applications updated

  • Protect access credentials

  • Use only official ProCam AU applications and services
